Description

Overview.

From some time I thought about create as simple as possible propeller with rubber band. After some attempt finally I achieved that and used it in this flying fairy model.

Preparation

After print propeller blade have to be bend about 45° as on foto below

Then just connect the propeller to the body by simple threading the hook through the fairy's neck.

The first threading can be a bit tricky. Just use more force to thread it.

If everything is on place attach rubber bands from propeller hook to feet along the body.

I recommend two rubber bands in size from 30 to 45 mm diameter and thick 1,5 to 1,7 mm.

If you have thicker rubber bands you can use only one.

Performance

Best flights are on new rubbers when they have best power. I achieved more of less 8m height of flight outdoor. For smooth working use a little oil to lubricate connection between propeller and body.

Have fun :)
