very nice, I printed on petg it a bit short for my tank, I could add more water to the rank, fixed perfectly on rimmed tank.

what type of plastic is recommended for this print to ensure it lasts sitting in the aquarium water? wondering if pla will hold up or if I should print this in at least petg?

I used PLA, works just fine. won't be that durable but maybe after 3 years you'll need to reprint

PLA leaches into the water and it’s not food safe. I’d go with PETG.
