Description

This is a simple wall mount for the famous 4L cereal boxes to hold filament spools.

The print is only 43g ASA and I used 6 WALLS for extra strength. I used the cheap IKEA screws anchor kit to mount my boxes. Use the smallest size. Use a metal washer to prevent splitting along the layers when you tighten the screws.

I use advanced stress analysis tools to design my part to ensure at least 270% safety factor with PETG filament, the deflection is 0.75mm at the tip. Accordingly, I inclined the slope 0.75mm so when you install the full 1kg into the filament box, the shelf will sit level.

I use these Engineering tools to ensure safety and to minimize the amount of material required, along with reducing the print time.

Excellent! 2 screws are perfectly sufficient. If only I had found this model sooner!
