Description

Updated to Rev 6, July 2025

The EGO string trimmer is nearly impossible to lean up against a wall. I finally gave up and made this wall mounted hanger for it.  The mount is strong enough that it'll hold the weed eater with the battery installed.

I have it screwed to the stud with #8 screws, but it would screw to a flat surface just fine as well.  Just make sure you use appropriate drywall anchors if it's not into the stud.  A speed square against the side of the stud or a bubble/spirit level across the bottom of the mount should be used to ensure the mount is installed true/plumb/level.

Let me know you like the EGO tool mount designs!

Rev 6 update: thicker base, print profile includes higher infill density.  I changed the storage conditions of mine recently and the mount started to creep a little because it was now in a hotter place.  (I'm printing out of PLA.)
