Description

A fully 3D-printed, working tribute to one of the earliest forms of the legendary Pachinko.

Before modern Japanese arcades lit up with flashing lights and electronic chaos, there was the mechanical Pachinko – a graceful, analog game of chance and gravity.

Vintage Pachinko brings that history back to life, reimagined through a refined Art Deco aesthetic and the precision of modern 3D printing.

Designed for 10 mm steel balls, this project is more than a game — it’s a working artifact of gaming history. Every bounce, ricochet, and drop is an homage to the early versions of what would later become a national phenomenon in Japan.

🧩 Features:

  • 🧱 Modular construction – designed in multiple interlocking parts, easy to print and assemble
  • 🔩 Sturdy screw-based assembly – no glue required for a solid, lasting build
  • ⚖️ Less than 750g total filament – yes, really!
  • 🎯 Fully functional spring-loaded plunger – launch your ball with satisfying precision
  • 🎨 Art Deco & Art Nouveau inspired look – elegant geometry, metallic finishes, and vintage charm
  • 🛠️ Compatible with Maker's Supply – all non-printed parts (screws, inserts, steel balls, springs...) were carefully selected to be available from the official Bambu Lab Maker Supply store!
  • 📘 Assembly guide included – A full step-by-step illustrated guide is provided to make the build smooth, clear, and enjoyable from start to finish.

Vintage Pachinko is the perfect blend of history, design, and mechanical play — whether you're a maker, a retro gaming lover, or just someone who appreciates well-crafted projects.

👉 Download, print, assemble, and relive the thrill of one of the earliest casino-style games — no electricity required.
And don’t forget to share your builds, high scores, or personal twists! 🎉

Do you think it would be possible to make a version to print without AMS

It's possible, but it won't be possible to have the decorations Do you want me to make the print files without the decorations

Yes, thank you so much! Would it then be possible to include the decorations separately for gluing or at least the 2D file so I can extrude and create it myself

Replying to @kuria :
Given that the decorations are very thin, I do not think the result will be acceptable by printing them separately and gluing them But I will try to make a new version with less fine details that can be printed separately

seems like there are more than 20 brass Dowel pins required. how many exactly, will complete the playfield. great design. I have 7 mechanical pachinko machines, this would make a great addition.

Thank you for your comment! Indeed, in the project's specifications, I indicated eight packets of twenty brass dowels, available for purchase on the MakerWorld website. I also dream of owning a real mechanical pachinko machine; you must have a magnificent collection!

this is so cool. does it need to be laid on a horizontal surface, or does it work vertically, too? i’d imagine that, if mounted to a wall, the brass pegs would need to be angled downward slightly to keep the balls from rolling forward and out… but wasn’t sure if there was anything else i hadn’t considered, too.

I am delighted you enjoy it ☺️ I designed it to be displayed horizontally To display it vertically, you would need to find a way to add a plexiglass cover to prevent the marbles from escaping the game
