Description

This is a set of pieces that can be used to recreate the Classic Space Blacktron I minifig at 250% scale.  This figure was introduced in 1987 and has been in numerous sets between 1987 - 2024.

These minifigs were remixed from the Mega Brick Minifigure published by Julia Ebert.  The changes made to the original design are:

  • All parts were scaled down 25% to work with standard LEG0 pieces published at a 2.5:1 scale.
  • A modified torso which includes a cavity to hold the torso sticker part provided with this design (the sticker part will need to be glued in place at these location).
  • The waist, arm, and hand parts were modified  to print with their connectors attached (This will require supports but eliminates the need to glue these pieces).
  • With the modifications above, the pins were no longer needed so these were removed from the print list.

All the accessory parts  were taken from thal72's Printables profile (or provided by thall72 directly) and scaled to 250%. He has a massive library of LEG0 compatible parts available at this location.  If you wish to do any additional customization to these mini-figures, this is a fantastic resource to find additional parts.  Special thanks to him as well for sharing this work!

Some additional notes:

  • We're calling mini-figs at this scale 'action-sized' because their dimensions are similar to a standard 1:18 scale action figure.
  • At this scale, we've found printing the mini-fig parts with 4 perimeters and 40% infill to be optimal from a strength perspective

If you decide to print these, we'd love to see them.  Please post pics of your makes, and please consider liking this design by clicking the "like" link above.

NOTE: If you're looking for the mega-sized versions of this shown in some of the pics you can find him along with our other space themed sets here.

License Note:

(borrowing this from Julia's post - the same applies here)

This model is marked as non-commercial because we don't want anyone (including ourselves) having LEG0 come after them with a lawyer. If you choose to sell prints of this model, you do so at your own risk!
