Fairphone 4 case (PLA)

Because of wear and tear, I needed a new case for my FP4. With very few publicly uploaded cases made for it at Maker world (Only 1 other case as of upload). I decided to try and make one myself with additional features. As a consequence, doubling the Fairphone 4 case option at this platform.

Features of the case:

• Magsafe accessory compatibility 

  Reasoning; Give the case a post print option for the end-user at customization and or flexibility.

  (Note: FP4 has no support for wireless charging)

   

• Credit card storage

  Reasoning; Need of a compact storage of my credit card and driver license.

   

• Key-chain support

  Reasoning; Missed the old days, where you could easily decorate your phone with accessory like small figurines and such. 

  • Outer diameter; 25mm
  • Inner diameter; 20mm
  • Ring width; 2.75mm
  • Ring depth; 2mm

Notable mentions: 

• As a quality control, I used the case a whole week, to stress-test and potentially discovering major flaws before upload.
• I printed the case with 100% infill density so it wouldn't be see-trough/transparent, additionally to give it more strength. But if you prefer less print time and waste of plastic, you can set the relevant settings to default.
• With this being my second only original design and print, it's quite likely I have done some easily avoidable flaws or mistakes. If you find any, let me know in the comments, so I can learn for my next projects in the future.
• I acquired the key-ring from a Norwegian hardware store called Jula (5-pack for 20 NOK)
