TWISTED CRYSTAL DRAGON

https://www.instagram.com/ibrawnfdm/reel/DIWbY72ANo_/

A articulated Dragon made out of twisting crystals!

Winged and No-Wings versions.

I am super excited to share this one with everyone!

There are two profiles. One for the winged version, and one for the un-winged. Both versions have 3 sizes. The smallest of the sizes is about 15 grams!! Thats tiny! But it prints with plenty of strength and tolerance.

The movement of this dragon is perfect as far as i am concerned. Not bending to far as to distort the dragon shape, but far enough for it to curl around itself quite well.

It prints without supports. Bambu studio will say it needs supports, but its not true. I prints fine without, you can ignore that warning.

I made this model very easy to colour. Take your time and have fun “redecorating” this one. The shells are nicely separated and are easy to customize with the Fill-In colour tool.

I use glue on all of my build plates. My favourite is Elmers washable school glue, disappearing purple

Beware: 3D printed things are not for small children. Some of the models have sharp edges or corners that can break the skin. Parts can break off and be swallowed. Smooth parts can break and become sharp. Please supervise small children while they play with 3D printed things.
