Description

I would like to clarify that I am not the original creator of this model. All credit for its initial design should be attributed to Apex23, who masterfully crafted this shelf model.

The initial version of the model was tailored specifically for the largest Skadis board, measuring 76x58cm. However, it wasn't a perfect fit for the medium-sized (58x58cm) and smaller (36x56cm) boards, as the dimensions didn't align exactly. This revised version includes modified models that are compatible with all sizes of the Skadis boards. There is a dedicated build plate for each Skadis board size including the number of prints you need for a shelf that spans over the entire board. This shelf is designed exclusively for compatibility with wall-mounted Skadis boards, utilizing the original mounting system. This shelf only fits of you are using the original mounting mechanism or 20mm spacers.

Printing instructions

This 3D model is designed for printing without the need for supports. For optimal results, position the model upside down, ensuring that the print bed is both clean and has adequate adhesion to prevent warping. Based on my experience of successfully printing approximately twelve of these shelves, I can confirm consistently flawless prints without the necessity for any specialized settings.

came out great, but it was pretty hard to put on. But it holds really well :) I was just confused as to why there are two printing plates and had to figure out the difference first. But it's probably just the name. It would be better if you mentioned that in the description instead of making it so confusing 😅

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I have incorporated the additional information into the description. Regarding the issue of a tight fit, could you please confirm if you utilized the original board and mounting hardware?

Replying to @AU3D :
Yes, original IKEA plates with the original holders. I sanded down the edges of the second printed part and now it fits well and tightly. Better a little too tight so it doesn't slip away. Really a great design!

Slide right on. I had to scale the width to fit my A1 Mini, but I left everything else the same.

yes, because that version is unaltered and therefore the original model should be used / downloaded.
