Have you ever considered the amount of rainwater accumulating on our rooftops during each rainfall?
If you've contemplated collecting and repurposing this water for various uses, from garden irrigation to other non-potable household applications, this project could be the starting point for your new water harvesting system.

Conceived as a water filtration and accumulation method for a 1000-liter cistern, this accessory was designed not only to create a new irrigation point for greenery in water-scarce areas but primarily as a filtration component within a more complex accumulation system, aimed at refilling toilet cisterns without solely relying on potable water.

The prototype's profile was created using standard PLA. For enhanced weather resistance and durability of the components, printing in PETG or, even better, ASA is recommended.

The smaller, base version of the model is sized for 63mm diameter gutters.

Subsequently, a V2 version for standard 80mm gutters will be available.

A metal mesh filter with appropriately sized holes will need to be cut and inserted into the bottom of filter B to allow for rapid water drainage without clogging the collection cup.
