H2 series Dual AMS Riser & Drawers
Print Profile(3)

Description
Since I got my H2D.. i wanted to combine both of my old AMS from my X1C and use it with the new H2D.. So when i was looking on Makerworld i found Henryk Dual AMS riser.. When i installed it i found that it was missing a lot of the elements that i liked when i was using the AMS riser for my old X1c..
The riser drawers works on all H2 series printer..
And one of the most important part was the drawers.. to store all my accessories and tools.. So i followed Henryk design and made my own version of the Dual AMS Riser..

The first improvement i made was raising the AMS riser and adding the drawers.. since the H2D was bigger and wider.. i could fit 3 drawers into it.. another thing i added was to push back the riser 10cm back.. So partial of the riser is floating at the back.. I added braces on the back to support the 2 AMS.. By pushing it back.. you'll have more room on the top glass to see the inside of the printer from the top and have more space for other things.. I'm using it to take pictures of my prints..

I also added a dedicated drawers for the nozzles and accessories with 3 different types of panel drawer fronts to choose from.. The front panels are the only multicolor print in this project.. The 2 front parts also need support.. i used a combo of PETG and PLA supports to print them.. so the supports can easily taken out..

And since the H2D comes with its own vibration feet.. it rocks a lot when printing.. So i added a brace holder that wraps and hugs the printer.. the braces hugs the printer to hold the Dual AMS riser in place.. so even without silicone feet for the riser.. it will not be able to move or slide on top of the glass even when the printer shakes and rocks around when printing.. The bracer snaps and hugs onto the front of the H2D printer..

Here's a shake test i recorded.. At first i did feel anxiety with the 2 ams on top.. but after a few hours of testing.. it is stable.. and if you have all 8 spools filled.. the printer actually shake less cause of the all the filament weighting it down.. You will also need a long PTFE tube for the right side AMS.. between 80-100cm long.. i just added the 100cm PTFE..

Since the Dual AMS riser is split into 4 parts.. i used aluminium rod to hold all 4 pieces together.. you can also use 3d printer steel rods too.. since each side will have to hold a weight of 4kg.. the front and back riser connect using 15cm long rods and the horizontal left and right connects using 30cm rods.. I used 8mm diameter rods.. you'll need:
- 15cm long rod x 4
- 30cm long rod x 3

i was going to share an aliexpress affiliate link.. but because of the tarif i recommend you going to your local 3d printing shop and just order the steel rods there.. the rods will be heavy but it will give you piece of mind when looking at the overhang from the 2 AMS.. here's an affiliate link of the aluminium rod i use..

Each part of the riser is also held together by pegs.. you can glue them together if you want.. but the pegs do snaps tightly.. There are 12 pegs all together that holds the 4 parts of the riser.. glueing the rods to each pieces does help.. but make sure to test fit it first before glueing it..

Once you put the riser in place.. the 2 bracer holder just snaps into each top side of the printer..

I also made 3 design for the drawer panels that you can choose from.. one of them is my own logo.. i could also make a custom panel with your own design for a small fee.. you can message me privately and we could discuss it..
There are also several different partition for the drawers to choose from.. all the drawers will have slit opening at the backs for hot air circulation from the AMS.. especially the AMS2 pro.. since it has the dryer function..

I hope this Dual AMS riser drawer will be helpful to all new H2D owners..
