Sizing

If you don't know your size, or if you don't use the US sizing system,  I recommend you print a measuring set. Like this one:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/548369-ring-size-measuring-set-for-us-eu-uk-fr-d#profileId-466517

US Size | Inner Diameter (mm)

5            | 15.7 mm

6            | 16.5 mm

7            | 17.3 mm

8            | 18.1 mm

9            | 19.0 mm

10          | 19.8 mm

11          | 20.6 mm

12          | 21.4 mm

13          | 22.2 mm

14          | 23 mm

15          | 23.8 mm

Printing

  • Print Profiles contain all sizes and are pre-colored.
  • Create your own colorway by matching different filament to each color group.
  • Use your fanciest or shiniest filaments for best results (I recommend PLA Silk Dual Color).
  • All rings use the AMS for multicolor.
  • Rings are designed to be printed at a 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle.
  • 0.2mm nozzle not needed, but may give better results at the expense of time.
  • Printing times range from 20 minutes - 2.25 hours (0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle).
  • Rings may run tight due to interior roughness and print tolerances, be prepared to sand the inside or go up a size.

Please share your Colorways!

I printed the Umbra design in 17-4 stainless steel and gave it a good polish. I love how it turned out.

that’s sick did you send it to a fab? I’ve never heard of people printing metal themselves

Replying to @bradpaiva :
I work in the additive manufacturing industry and used a Markforged Metal X to make the ring. Ill probably do a few more of the rings that you had designed. Great work on the models btw!

So sorry, would you please explain a little better how you achieved this result, is this something I can do with my P1S and a special filament or process? Or did you actually print this in metal on a printer that does that? Thank you!

the aqua regina model, it came out beautifully. but it consumes quite a lot of material when changing the filament between colors. despite this I think it was worth it.

My wife saw this print and wanted to try it herself, this is the result. Now she wishes to attempt a new print using silk filament. I shall upload the results at a later date.

Turned out amazing. Printed using a 0.2 nozzle with BL PLA Silk+ Gold and Hatchbox PLA Teal. I’ve printed others from this collection using a 0.4 nozzle and the difference is very noticeable.
