Description

Color Gradient LED Lamp – A1 Mini Compatible

Add vibrant ambient lighting to your room with this modern RGB LED lamp! Designed to be fully printable on compact 3D printers like the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, this project is both beginner-friendly and highly customizable.

Features:

  • Compact & Stylish Design – Minimalist look that fits anywhere, from your desk to your nightstand.
  • High LED Density Recommended – For the smoothest color transitions, use a 144 LEDs/m strip.
  • Fits up to 12mm LED Strips – The channel is wide enough for most standard RGB LED strips
  • Built-in Cable Management – The base includes two cable openings (e.g., for USB-C) to keep things tidy.
  • Spacious Base – Plenty of room to house an ESP32 development board, wiring, and other electronics.
  • Simple Assembly – Just a few parts: base, diffuser, LED holder, and top cap.
  • Optimized for Small Printers – All parts fit within the A1 Mini’s build volume.

Print & Build Tips:

  • Use white or translucent filament for the diffuser to ensure even light distribution.
  • PLA or PETG is recommended for the other components.
  • For better stability, the individual parts can be glued together.
  • The lamp is designed for two diffuser rails, but you can try printing three or more for a fuller look (not tested).
  • Route your LED strip inside the curved holder and connect it to your controller of choice (ESP32, Arduino, etc.).
  • Customize with animations, effects, or WiFi/Bluetooth control if using a smart board!
