~~~~~~~~~~ Updated June 19, 2025 ~~~~~~~~~~
Many thanks to @Stari for their significant contribution to print profile refinement.
The updated print profile has been uploaded. Specific updates include:
  • Increased solid infill line width to 0.6 mm
  • Corrected sparse infill pattern to grid
  • Increased sparse infill percentage to 10%
  • Adjusted print speeds for various sections
  • Incorporated smooth Z-axis wall speed (experimental feature)
Post-update print results are shown below (using newly opened PETG-CF), with default filament parameters:
Initial inclined surface results:
Overall mid-section inclined surface results:
Overall finished product results:
Analysis of main inclined surface print failures with the old profile:
When the inclination angle is less than 30 degrees, the contact layer between the inclined wall and the sparse infill is not recognized as an overhang in Bambu Studio, resulting in insufficient speed reduction and cooling for the overhanging layer.
Furthermore, the sparse infill lines in the same location, while not identified as an overhang, are drawn prior to the solid infill, further causing “print breaks”.
As defined, if any modification needs to be made from my point of view, it is to slightly increase the step that holds it in position as it is a bit small and when you touch the iPad it falls. My rating is entirely positive, but I would change that small detail to make it more functional if possible. Thanks to the designer for their work
I agree. This stand is fantastic. If the step height were increased and a cutout made in the center so the USB cable could plug in to it would be an awesome upgrade.
Absolutely this piece must be resized. The lightest tough near the top of the ipad and it slips right off.
Great print! Exactly what I was looking for! Very good angle for drawing on the iPad! Also added magnets in the back to hold my pen
This is one of the if not the best models on this site. I created a new profile for the H2D to maintain the same print settings as the original profile and the stand came out perfect! I’ve added four silicone drops to the bottom of the stand to prevent it from slipping, and I couldn’t be happier. 10 out 10! If anyone would like me to upload the H2D profile let me know.
Thank you for uploading this deisgn. Could you make it so that the bottom bar is extruding out a lot more? when I have a case on it just slides down. Thanks in advance.
Looks good and works great. I recommend to add some rubber pads to the bottom.
