Description

A server rack shelf designed to hold a TP Link TL-SG105-M2 switch in a 10" server rack. This shelf has been specifically designed to work with the Lax Rax system.

The shelf requires three M6x10mm button head screws and nuts - two for the supports and one for the switch clamp bracket. The switch can be secured to the shelf by using either the bracket or the wall mounts or both.

I have only tested it with this specific switch but if you find that it is compatible with other switches, let me know and I'll add them to the list below.

Compatable With;

  • TP Link TL-SG105-M2
  • TP Link LS1210GP

The router on the lowest 2 layers can be perfectly hidden using built-in dividers and external panels with M6x16 screws

According to Gemini, the TP Link TL-2G105 has the following dimensions - 209x126x26mm - (8.2x4.9x1.0 inch). Hopefully this helps someone else wondering if their model will fit.

Just with some button head screws and nuts - I think I used M4 button heads. Install them very loose, place the switch over them so that the head goes into the slot and then tighten them to hold it in place.

A honeycomb version woule be awesome. Great design, specially loved that it's supported on the rear.

I printed out the rack, I already have a Linksys SE3008V2 and don't want to buy another switch, but I've been trying to modify this design for weeks and I can't seem to get it. (No experience with drawing). I tried to add an ojbect in the negative space to make it work, nothing.
