Many owners of older Suzuki GSX-R 600 models are familiar with this problem:
The original voltage regulator sits directly behind the exhaust manifold, where it gets extremely hot. The result:
➡️ The regulator overheats, regularly fails, causes charging voltage problems and, in the worst case, leads to a breakdown.
This mount relocates the regulator to the front, underneath the triple clamp – a location with significantly better air circulation and lower ambient temperature.
⚙️ Technical Details:
- Suitable for: older Suzuki GSX-R 600 models (e.g., K1–K4 series – please compare dimensions)
- Mounting point: under the lower triple clamp (headstock)
- Designed for standard regulators (or comparable aftermarket models)
- Optional: Use of thermal paste is recommended
