Description
Two-Speed Gearbox for 1:10 or 1:8 Scale RC Cars
This compact and efficient two-speed transmission is designed specifically for 1:10 or 1:8 scale RC vehicles. Ideal for DIY enthusiasts and custom RC builds, it offers a balance between torque and speed with the following gear ratios:
First Gear: 1:3 (for high torque and smooth acceleration)
Second Gear: 1:1 (for higher speed and efficient cruising)
Assembly Requirements:
3mm metal shafts
3mm bearings (optional: a printable plastic bushing is included in the design if bearings are not available)
M3 bolts, 20mm length
The gearbox housing and internal components are optimized for 3D printing and are easy to assemble. Step-by-step assembly is shown in the photos for your convenience.
You can also use individual gears from this gearbox in your own custom mechanical projects — feel free to remix and adapt!
