Three iterations of wall thickness were adjusted, ultimately opting for the most robust version without compromising the bas-relief effect.

Similar to the previous Venus lamp, Venus LED001 night light by Zarathustra - MakerWorld, it utilizes matte desert yellow filament and a standard 001 LED, employing the same interface.

However, to accentuate Jupiter's chromatic character, warm lighting is recommended as the light source.

 

The lampshade weighs approximately 110g and requires no supports for direct printing.

To highlight Jupiter's distinctive features, the surface bas-relief is rendered more three-dimensionally than the Venus lamp, resulting in a more pleasing tactile experience.

 

Frankly, I am not entirely satisfied with this version.

Jupiter's surface coloration is far more intricate than that of the Moon, Venus, or Mars, making it challenging to faithfully replicate its nuanced surface details using a single filament color and light temperature.

 

Therefore, I encourage those with the capability to emulate the approach of the user in the comments section of Jupiter by RynosaurusRex - MakerWorld, by sectioning the model into desired components and applying acrylic paints internally to achieve a sufficiently rich and complex surface coloration.

The author's Jupiter model already boasts commendable surface detail, yet, as discussed previously concerning the Venus lamp, its smooth interior limits minimum wall thickness and weight, resulting in less-than-ideal translucency and a lack of a readily attachable, universal lamp base.

This spurred my decision to remodel a more functional Jupiter.

 

The internal bas-relief texture should facilitate the painting process. Should you require clearer internal texturing for painting, please let me know in the comments, and I will endeavor to refine the internal details further.

Images of the painted project have been uploaded (although I admit my painting skills are rather rudimentary).

 

For similar results, I suggest preparing brown, yellow, orange, gray, and white pigments (to rectify any painting errors), and, ideally, a touch of red pigment (the Great Red Spot is, of course, red).

 

I am experimenting with creating a model that avoids noticeable seams after being bisected. If successful, I will upload it later.

Until then, you can either section and paint the model yourself or use the currently available sectional model for printing. If opting for the latter, note the protrusion at the lower hemisphere's seam; this serves as an alignment marker.
