Description

⚠️ Fan-made project – Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of the brands or platforms represented in this collection.

I’ve created a collection of keychains with an integrated NFC tag, perfect for sharing your social media profiles or website with a simple tap! This project includes designs for the following social platforms and services: Instagram, X, TikTok, Snapchat, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Vinted, Wallapop, Spotify, WhatsApp, and a generic icon for websites.

Printing Instructions:

NFC Tag: Use a 25 mm diameter NFC tag.
Pause: Set a pause at layer 8 to insert the NFC tag during printing.
Infill Density: 100% to ensure durability.
Recommended Material: PLA or PETG for good strength and ease of printing.
Nozzle: 0.4 mm (standard).

Program the NFC tag with an app like "NFC Tools" to add the link to your preferred profile or website. Once the tag is inserted, resume printing to seal it inside the keychain. Ideal for networking, gifts, or personal use!

Thanks for the feedback, but there's a misunderstanding. The printer stops intentionally at a preset height to allow you to insert the NFC tag into the slot. It's not a filament change or an error. The model instructions explain this clearly. If you tried to print without inserting the NFC tag, the pause seemed out of place, but it's a design feature. I'd be happy to help you understand better if you'd like.

Can you add a Google logo for Google Reviews?

Thanks for your suggestion! I don't currently have a Google logo version due to trademark policies, but I do have a blank NFC keychain model that you can customize with any design you like — including the Google Reviews logo. Thanks for the suggestion! I actually already have a globe icon in this series – you can see it here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2643747-custom-nfc-keychain-18-social-media-platforms#profileId-2921577 That said, it's a flat design (not embossed like the others). To be honest with you, I prefer not to create a separate embossed globe version just for one request. Why? Because it would mean printing test samples that would likely sit on my shelf collecting dust – that feels like a waste of filament and time. I try to design only what I can reasonably offer and maintain. If you really need a raised globe for Google Reviews, my blank customizable model is the best solution. You can add any logo you like, embossed or flat, without me having to produce a dozen variations that nobody else might use. Hope that makes sense, and thanks for understanding! 😊

Looks great but the print only functioned because I was present and intervened since after inserting the NFC chip the layers were printed circularly and the filament understandably could not adhere to the chip

Thank you so much for your feedback! I’ve printed the keychains both with and without the NFC chip inserted and haven’t noticed any issues with the filament adhesion. Could it perhaps depend on the print settings or the printer used? What specific experiences did you have? I’d love to hear more about it to possibly improve the process!

Also ich habe an den Druck Einstellungen nach dem öffnen der Datei nicht geändert. Es lässt sich leider schwer beschreiben was genau passiert ist. Nachdem ich den Chip eingesetzt habe und den Druck fortgeführt habe hat der Drucker versucht einen Kreis am Rand des Chips zu ziehen der aber nicht gehalten hat und wurde einfach mit geschliffen wodurch auch die nächsten Linien des Modells die an diesem fehlgeschlagenen Ring fortgeführt wurden nicht dementsprechend gedruckt wurden wodurch es sich so weitergezogen hat bis ich eingegriffen habe

Thanks for the feedback! It could indeed be humid filament causing the issue. For my prints, I used eSUN PLA+ and AzureFilm PLA, which worked well. Let me know if you try drying the filament.
