Description
Building on version 1.0, upgrades include: Reverse cranking will not transmit torque to the blades, so only forward cranking produces a breeze, completely avoiding the possibility of no airflow in reverse. Two bevel gears have been added, changing the direction of gear transmission, with increased gear engagement. One crank rotation results in approximately six fan rotations. Following user suggestions, no lubricant is needed for the gears; they are exceptionally smooth right out of the box. Dimensional tolerances are excellent, and support removal is incredibly satisfying and stress-relieving; even my grandmother could assemble it, and so can you! It’s important to note that the two bevel gears must be pre-assembled before installation. See the diagram below for details:
