Description

This is a small, simple loom for creating rubber band bracelets. The hook helps pick the bands out, but it's possible to work without out.

Make sure the build plate is clean, especially if you're printing the hook as the contact area is pretty small.

I hope someone is able to find this simple loom as useful as I have!

ok as a short term solution but printed in PLA matte it was unfortunately too weak for the purpose and broke within a few mins of use on a rainbow loom. Suspect a PETG might be slightly better, though some redesign could improve performance.

Thanks for trying it out! Can you let me know if it was the loom or the hook that broke? And where was the breaking point? I don't have any PETG, but I'm sure you are correct that it would make for a stronger version.

Hi, it broke at the neck of the handle where it narrows. I only saw it after so not sure which way it went but suspect if it were more tapered than cornered it would be less of a stress point and maybe increased thickness overall and/or a rib added along the centre line. The hook itself printed and worked perfectly and better than I expected TBH
