Description

QUICK NOTE: The Quest 3/3s version is the 2nd print profile!! (also this is only for the Quest 2 and 3), also the Quest 3 version needs some post-processing (since its a more finicky cover mechanism) so beware!!

When looking on MakerWorld, I noticed that there weren't many simple textured grips for the Quest 2 or 3, so I decided to make one! I'm pretty new to blender so it's kinda scuffed, but it does the job. Playing with these is quite comfortable, and they do give you some extra grip. I've only tested the Quest 2 ones since I don't yet have a Quest 3, but it should work too. Just make sure to remove all the supports, some are hard to remove on the Quest 3 version

When remixing the original models from Thingiverse by stevesch & Makerworld by Kri, I loaded it into Blender and messed around with a tutorial until I made a result that worked. I first (and accidentally) made the Quest 3 version as I misread the Quest 3 models name as Quest 2, so then I had to do the whole process again just to make a Quest 2 version. It was a bit annoying, but it did at least give me 2 things to post.

I printed mine in eSUn PLA Lite, though just normal Bambu Lab PLA should print the exact same. The settings I used were:

Wall loops - 3

Infill - Gyroid, 15%

Walls - Arachne

Support - Normal, Snug

Nozzle - 0.4, 0.20mm Standard Process
