Description

I've come across a few different angled grips for a barbell for bench press/curls that angle your hands/arms to reduce joint stress while promoting better form.  I've had nerve issues in my shoulder due to an injury, so this seemed like something that could be of assistance.

I wasn't interested in spending money on something just to see if I'd like it, so I decided to make my own version.

Fits a standard Olympic barbell (28.5mm) and grip diameter is 51mm and 102mm long, similar to aftermarket fat grips for barbells. Snug enough that the bar doesn't roll or shift during curl or bench because your grip is applying pressure to the inside walls.

Slips pretty easily over the barbell for installation and removal is the same (I recommend installing by prying the thickest side first for easiest installation).

I've only used it once and while I did notice less shoulder pain while using, but it's still a very foreign feeling compared to using a standard barbell.

Try it out if you have issues with shoulder pain during bench press.

*Disclaimer* I am not responsible for any damage or injury caused by improper use, handling, or storage of the 3D printed items.

Use at your own risk. Inspect item regularly for wear and tear and discontinue use if any damage is observed.  I've only tested this with a 45lb barbell alone, so if you add more weight, it's your responsibility to ensure you're using this safely.
