Description
Maurice, the owner of Dreaming Robots and designer of the Electric Eel Cone Winder graciously provides 3d print files for his products.
I just received my winder and loved the idea of being able to print my own cones. I made some adjustments to his design based on feedback from other users.
- This cone has been shortened to 181mm tall and seems to fit perfectly at that height.
I've added the fuzzy skin texture to allow the yarn to allow the yarn to “grip” the cone.
I'm currently playing with adding vents to reduce materials and weight similar to the cones provided with the winder. If successful I'll upload that file.
