This handle was designed to match the design of the X1/P1 handles, while keeping the shape and functionality of the H2 handle.
I made angled and straight versions, as well as versions with or without logo. It's a set of two pieces, one handle for the door and one for the lid. They are identical except for the orientation of the logo.
The finish will depend on the used build plate. I printed mine with the Darkmoon Satin Build Plate, which has a finer texture than a regular textured PEI plate. If you are interested in the settings, you can find them below.
Reminder: The chamber of the H2D/H2S/H2C can heat up to 65°C. If you use this feature, I recommend printing this design with PETG or ABS.
I also made a nice H2D Hotend Box as well as Gridfinity Inserts for H2D Hotends and Accessoires!
Settings for Darkmoon Satin Build Plate for smoothest finish:
- Selected build plate in slicer: Smooth PEI
- No additional offset in print profile (this is default if you haven't modified it)
- 0.1mm initial layer height
- 1.2 initial layer flow ratio (to compensate the texture)
- Preferable a filament without glossy or metal like effects for the first layer
