Holographic Effect World Map

Travel the globe without leaving your print bed! This World Map design uses my custom pseudo-holographic technique to showcase the continents with eye-catching, one-wall-thick zig-zag lines. When you tilt or move the model under a light, the pattern seems to shift and shimmer, highlighting the outline of each continent.

A built-in pause at layer four lets you easily switch filament colors—try a lighter shade for the landmasses and a darker tone for the background (or vice versa) to make the continents really pop. Despite its global scale, this piece prints quickly and is straightforward to set up, whether you’re a cartography lover or just enjoy unique illusions.
