Description
Tired of constantly buying replacement socks for my Bestway pool skimmer, I decided to create a finely meshed basket capable of collecting even the smallest impurities.
I designed this basket, and it works wonderfully, with 50% mesh infill.
Use my profile settings, including supports, so they detach easily without damaging the print

My skimmer has polystyrene on the inner sides to improve buoyancy of the blue part; I strongly recommend including it to enhance the Bestway skimmer's effectiveness, otherwise the blue basket will sink
Not suitable for Intex skimmers
If you find the mesh too tight, simply reduce the infill of the base (see image):
Go to Objects
Click on skimmer base
and set the infill to 30% or 40%
