Home Depot StormTrooper helmet adapter

I love my Hope Depot Stormtrooper, but I'm not a big fan of the helmet's proportions or the distance it sits away from the body, so I created a new mount that uses the original hardware without modification. Simply remove the existing helmet (sorry the motors and electronics are part of the helmet so the new one won't move) and the black thumb screw. Then slip the connector bracket over the nut where the thumbscrew connects and attach a 3/8" threaded rod and a couple of nuts/washers connected to the headpiece support. The headpiece is 7.5" (190.5mm) in diameter which works well for my EFX helmet. Others have tried it with a Black Series helmet and reported that it works, but if a different diameter is need I'm happy to oblige. To adjust the height of the helmet, reposition the nuts/washers on the headpiece and/or connector bracket to where you like it.
