Honda USM425U Bump Head Outer Body

Honda Whipper Snipper / Weed Eater Model USM425U Bump head trimmer case.

My bump head has worn out too many times and buying a new one just to replace the outer case is a waste. I have drawn up a replacement case that uses the original internal parts and requires swapping over the metal cord guides. Guides are pressed out and pressed  in by hand.

I have drawn this model from scratch using the old part and have printed the model. It works perfectly.

I used PETG and 0.20 strength settings with my Bambu Labs A1. Supports are required and make sure you clean out the internal supports before assembly.

Remove the steel cord guides from your old bump head and insert them carefully into the new head. Check bump head operation before attaching to your equipment.

I installed and cleaned up a large yard with concrete edges and no unusual damage found on the bump  head after a full day.

I have added a Bump Cap for the cord holder if you need it. Mine was worn down to the metal so I added the cap to extend the life of the cord holder.

Bump Cap print time is approx. 15 minutes.
