Cam for automata models with 5mm dowel hole

Our year 3 pupils are doing a design and technology mechanisms project using wooden wheels to make cams. Using this method, it's possible to use the wheels in a similar way to gears where the direction of motion can be changed. It's also possible to make eccentric cams using this method, but I wanted to try other shapes of cams and also to introduce our first 3d printing project, so here is my first attempt at a cam with a 5mm hole for dowel. I am hoping it will be a good push fit, but I have to wait til after the holiday to try it out on the dowel we have in school.
