Photo Frame Holder for TrailPrint3D Hiking Maps

This model is a photo frame for a standard 4x6 in (10x15 cm) photo, into which a relief generated by the excellent hiking and cycling map generator TrailPrint3D in the standard hexagon size, 10 cm, can be seamlessly integrated. A photo can be easily inserted from the side and is held by the frame. Photos can be exchanged at any time!

To adapt the frame's lettering to the actual tour, the model must be opened in Bambu Studio! The texts can be easily adjusted there.

The project also includes three stands with different inclination angles to allow the frame to be placed on a table.

The labeling is easily adaptable in Bambu Studio. Also included is a single hexagon base plate with customizable lettering.

No reliefs are integrated into this model! These must first be created in Trailprint3D in the form of a hexagon, size 10.

Important for removing the supports

The photo frame is printed in one piece, including the insert for the photo. Supports are integrated into the model for this purpose. I have optimized these supports so that they are relatively easy to remove.

By optimizing the upper and lower Z-distances, the supports can be easily removed with a cutter or sharp knife. Simply carefully run along the upper and lower edges:

After that, the supports should be able to be removed by simply pulling them out:
