Floating Helmet Wall Mount | Invisible Mount
Print Profile(1)

Description
Edit #1
- Added two updated mounts labeled “Deep”
- This mounts help get the helmet off the wall so that the mask and helmet do not “rub” against the wall if desired
- Recommend printing in TPU or a softer material if worried about potential markings on inside of helmet as plastic can rub when tightening
- Could also apply a rubber coating or dip to the plastic as well
Floating/Invisible Football Helmet wall mount!
Perfect for any wall, man cave, sports bar, home office, office office or anywhere else you want to display your collection of helmets. Can face helmets Left or Right to match your needs as mounts attach to the wall and within the Ear Hole.
Extra Hardware Needed:
- 3/8-16"x 2" Hex Bolt and Hex Nut Combo; Walmart has this Set that I use on the fly
- Hex heads/nuts between 14-14.5mm
- 1 ½" may work instead of 2", but I just liked the amount of room it gave me to play with and adjust
- #4-6 x 7/8" Anchors; be sure to get anchors that will hold the weight of the helmet
How to print Inside Helmet Lock:
- Make sure (preview) setting has a pause at Layer 75 (should already be set if using my profile)
- Once print gets to layer and pauses, add Nut into Hex Hole
- Resume print
How to Install:
- Measure and mark where you want the Wall Mount to be.
- Follow instructions for install Anchors by drilling the hole size needed
- Add Hex bolt through back of wall mount before attaching to wall
- Attach Wall mount to the anchors with screws
- Line Helmet up with ear hold (left or right facing) making sure bolt goes through ear hole
- Screw Inside helmet lock with 3 nubs facing inside. Tighten until helmet is stable.
- Can unscrew and adjust the helmet to desired angle and re-tighten to lock in place
Mask covering part of Ear Hole or more:
- If the mask covers part of the ear hole, use Tight Mask Wall Mount instead
- Mount has partial clip off to give room adjustment for smaller ear holes and mask coverings.

- If using Tight Mask wall mount, I recommend mounting one hole and anchor (top or bottom), then place/eyeball helmet over mount and adjust to desired placement. Remove helmet and more 2nd hole.
- sometimes fits better at an angle
- If mask is still too tight for mount to work, most masks have 2 screw holes for their rubber clips. Remove screw and adjust to the secondary hole in clip and should give enough room for Tight Mask Mount.
