KOTLC Song Family Crest Keepers of the Lost Cities
Print Profile(2)

Description
NOTE: I wasn't sure if there is enough interest in KOTLC and the family crest pins, so I was hesitant to share this. If this model gets a lot of downloads and likes, it might be worth my time in creating some of the other family crests. Let me know which one(s) you'd like most.
For fans of the Keepers of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger, here is a recreation of the Song Family Crest Pin. I tried to be as faithful to the official illustration by Laura Hollingsworth as possible:

You have two options to print this in multicolor. I have included profiles for each method:
- A simple pause at layer
- Start the print in your first color (black suggested)
- There is a pause at the beginning of Layer 19 (1.90mm height).
- Manually unload and load the new filament (silver suggested)
- Resume printing starting at Layer 19 in the second color.
- 2-Color print (with AMS)
- I've already separated the two parts and the AMS will handle the filament swap.
- There is only a single filament swap operation, so it's not wasteful.
The model is sized for my daughter as part of her Halloween costume. If you resize it, please carefully re-check the layer at which you need to do the filament/color change.
NOTE: This model is intended to be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle at 0.10mm layer height. This is to properly capture the intricate details of the crest. If you want to print this with a 0.4mm nozzle, you may want to scale it larger or you may end up losing too much detail. YMMV.
You can use it as a pin by sticking a brooch pinback to the back of the model.

Optional: You can fill the center area with UV resin to give it a more finished look:
