Description

My Peel P50 microcar design.

I used basic blueprints as outlines, but interior, engine, chassis details are very simplified (and not that realistic). But it looks good enough from outside, and is easy enough to print.

Wheels and front axle can be added without glue, but all other parts need to be glued together.

All parts print easily enough although smaller parts especially front axle part need to be printed slowly and carefully. If my original front axle (with slopes and bridge area) don't stick to your plate good enough you can use alternative simpler version that have bigger footprint on plate.

This version is 1/25 scale (55mm in length). It can be resized, but because this design is not that detailed, larger versions won't look as good. And smaller versions are limited by side mirror part, at one point it will become too small to print (at least with 0.4 nozzle).

This version can be printed normally and even side mirror on main body part will print nicely without supports.

Assembly instructions:

  • Main body and lower body parts need to be glued together
  • Front axle part with wheels can be added without glue (wheels use same design for all 3 wheels so that file needs to be printed 3x)
  • Engine/exhaust part needs to be glued on one side
  • Steering wheel need to be glued on steering column
  • Roof needs to be glued on main body
