Trout Layered Wall Sculpture

Note: this model does not have ironing turned on in the settings. If you would like smoother top surfaces and don't mind adding extra time to the print, please enable ironing in the global settings. The printed example is without ironing, using primarily matte PLA.

Here is a trout decoration I put together as our walls were lacking some fishing kitsch. This model prints in two pieces and you will need to use a strong glue to attach them (I just used some leftover superglue). The model is light enough to be placed on a wall with light-duty command strips. The current coloring takes two AMS units as it uses 6 colors, however you should be able to set this print up to pause and do filament swapping at different heights, and those heights will be the same for both plates. Each different color has it's own height aside from the brown on the outer wall. Alternatively this would probably look great printed in wood PLA and then hand painted if you feel like going through the effort or want to make it an extra special gift.
