P1S Air Vent
For some projects (especially with PLA), it is important that the internal temperatures do not get too high to avoid unwanted effects during printing. This function is enabled by the P1S Air Vent. Warm air can escape through the large openings and prevents overheating inside even without using the internal fans. In addition, the filament feed has more room upwards, so that the PTFE tube no longer rubs against the glass cover.
- Fits perfectly for P1S (P1X should be identical)
- Glass cover can be placed on top
- Connecting the individual parts requires no adhesive and can be plugged together
- Can be printed without supports
I printed my personal P1S Air Vent with a 0.6mm nozzle from PLA. However, there should be no problems with the standard profile with a 0.4mm nozzle. At higher internal temperatures, you should use more temperature-resistant materials (PETG / ASA / ABS).
