Description

SIMPLE. FLYING. FUN.

 

Anticipating the Easter holidays, we decided to get creative with the Easter Egg Contest! 🎉 Searching for Easter eggs is always exciting, but what if these eggs aren’t quite what we expect? And what if they… fly? 🚁✨

HeliEggs are not just festive souvenirs—they’re little airborne wonders that bring joy to both kids and adults! Are you ready for an Easter flight? 🐣💨

 

Model designed and tested with PLA Basic from Bambu Lab.

 

To assemble, follow steps below:

Step 1 - Before assembly check that all parts are printed correctly. Carefully remove brims from axis and supports from propeller.

Pay attention on special “dot” markings on Propeller. During assembly they must face the flight direction.

Step 2 - Assemble the axis and spacing washer. The rounded side of the washer should face the axis bush. Apply slight pressure and twist to mount the propeller on the axis. Pay attention to the correct direction of the blades! 

Before final fix check that there is no excessive friction on hub.

Step 3 - Heat the tip of the axle with a lighter flame for 1–2 seconds. Press the melted tip of the axle with the side of the lighter and hold for 3–4 seconds. The plastic will solidify and securely lock the propeller onto the axle.

Alternatively, Propeller may be glued with Cyanoacrylate glue (Super Glue).

Step 4 - Install one rubber ring 1.4x70mm or any other suitable rubber ring.

Installed rubber motor should not be under big tension. The rubber motor is suitable when it is able to unwind even after 5-10 turns.

For the flight, wind up the rubber motor clockwise 170-180 turns. 

If any, the slight friction in the axis bushing will disappear after 3-5 launches.

Well-adjusted model can take off to a height of 4-5 meters. 🚀
