Center point marker

Hi Makers!

This is a very versatile and useful marking tool that will make craft work at home a lot easier. There are so many cases where it might suit your needs, for example when working with wood and having to cut it into similar pieces or drilling holes inside it. This tool can always determine the exact lengthwise center point of your wood slat, help you make a centered line across the area, serve as a ruler for both drawing lines and measure the approximate width of it and additionally being a usable drilling guide.

By simply putting it over your wooden slat (or other material) and rotating it until it touches the bar with both ends, you can be sure that by drawing through the centered hole which is labelled with ½ you will mark the exact middle. This can be done with any pencil to draw lines or just put a small dot where you need it. Please note that 120mm is the maximum supported width, however, only in this case you will then also be able to use the ¼ indicators to properly divide your part into four similar pieces. 

If you don't have a ruler handy, you can also use the built-in centimeter scale at the bottom which will show up when held rectangularly on your slat to measure its approximate width. At the same time the other side will enable you to draw a line for cutting or other marks on your material if you need it. 

Despite serving as a measuring and drawing tool, whenever you want to drill a perfectly straight hole, for example into your walls, you can easily drill through a fitting hole that is located on the side handles of the model. There are adjusted holes for 4-8mm thick drillers which will guide you vertically aligned into your object etc. during the process while you can grab it on the other end. Through the scale found on the bottom you can also determine the length of your driller if needed.
