Bambu Lab Spool Weight with NFC Tag Slot And Label

A smart upgrade for AMS users who rely on Bambu Lab spools with third-party filaments and want to keep the automatic material recognition feature while improving filament storage conditions. This improved spool weight includes a dedicated slot for the NFC tag (taken from an empty Bambu Lab spool) and space for silica gel, helping reduce moisture inside the AMS and ensuring smooth, stable filament feeding.

Key Features:

• Fits perfectly – Compatible with both original Bambu Lab spools and community-printed spools from MakerWorld.
• NFC tag support – Easily transfer the NFC tag from an empty Bambu Lab spool into the collar so your AMS still recognizes the filament type, even if it's not from Bambu Lab.
• Clear labeling – Each collar includes a visible label showing the filament type stored on the NFC tag. A blank version is also included for custom text (9 pt font recommended).
• Moisture control – Add silica gel inside the weight to lower humidity levels inside the AMS, extending filament lifespan.
• Better stability – Prevents the spool from jumping around during printing, especially with lighter or partially used rolls.

1. NFC Collar Only

   Just print a new NFC collar from this profile and replace the one you already printed. Includes several pre-labeled versions plus a blank collar for custom tags.
2. Full Weight for Original Bambu Lab Spools
   A complete weight set made specifically for factory Bambu Lab spools.
   Don’t forget to choose a matching NFC collar from the second build plate to identify your filament properly.
3. Full Weight for MakerWorld Printed Spools
   Made for community-printed Bambu Lab spools available on MakerWorld.
   Again, choose an NFC collar from the second build plate to complete the set.
