Caution
This model should not be used as a mat for hot objects, especially when printed with low temperature tolerance materials like PLA.
Caution is advised even with materials that can handle more heat. There is a risk of burn, injury and damage to furniture when used incorrectly with hot objects.
About this model
This is a model of a drying mat that can be used to provide better drying conditions to your polymer plaster / gypsum. When drying, a good air flow from the bottom allows your art to dry faster. These can be printed in multiple numbers to increase the area of the drying mat. I also recommend using paper towel underneath to gather all the moisture that shows when drying.

Adjusted settings
The model has adjusted settings for an optimal use case. Among these changes are:

| Layer height | 0.24mm | Used for faster printing and to reduce filament waste. |
| Top/Bottom shell layers | 0 / 0 | Since we want to expose top and bottom for an airflow, these shell layers are removed. |
| Infill Type | Gyroid | Gyroid seems to be the best looking infill type with good stability/printing speed ratio. |
| Infill % | 6% | Low infill % allows for better airflow while reducing filament use. |
| Size | 15cm x 15cm x 0.5cm | Adjusted for A1 Mini printing bed, can be scaled up for bigger printers. |
Feel free to customize your experience with different patterns/infill % - just remember that since there is no bottom/top layers, it has to stay connected to the side walls, e.g. do not use “concentric”. Otherwise you will have trouble getting it of the plate and/or it will be unusable.
