Bambu AMS 2 Pro CAD Model (.stp file)

This is a 3D Model of the new AMS 2 Pro to aid fellow makers with designing accessories, mounts, etc. to fit with it.  To download the model, use the dropdown menu above and select “Download STL/CAD Files”.

It is an unofficial model I created myself by taking measurements.  It includes the heater intake and exhaust locations, plug locations, slats on the side, etc.  While it is very accurate and I took a lot of time and care taking the measurements, there may be an occasional mistake.  Please let me know and I will try to fix it.  

Note the insert that goes into the housing was way more complicated with compound curves and non-uniform surfaces than I was interested in trying to model, so I only modeled the basic outline of the feeders in the front for clearance.

Some things I recommend you keep in mind when designing for this AMS Unit.

• It does have a heater that does get up to 60 deg C, so designing for PLA is very risky.
• The heater has intake and exhaust ports, so they should NOT be blocked by anything.
• Please verify any design using your actual physical AMS unit.
