Description

Z-axis cap for P1P, X1 and X1C  |  Loose fit!

 

For all the people who want to give feedback on the fact that this cap is too loose of a fit:

The reason of the loose fit that rotates easily is that not in any case you want a z-axis dust cover to grip, snap or sit to tight at the top op the z-axis screw rod. Just the slightest resistance of a cap against the z-axis screw rod can result in layer defects.
So I advice you to go for the safe option, in stead of the tight option.
And if you don't want any risk whatsoever, don't use a cap at all. Not even mine that has a loose fit.

I use them now for over a year and never had any z-axis defects, pop off's or other issues.

 

Features:

  • Shields the metal z-axis end-bearing from dust and filament debris.
  • Material: Bambu Lab Black ABS.
  • Chamfered bottom and top.
  • Diameter: 19mm.
  • Height: 2mm.
  • Includes 1,5mm inside indent for z-axis metal protrusion.
  • To be placed on top of the z-axis.
  • Sightly smaller then the z-axis hole so the cap can rotate freely if needed.
  • Printed on Bambu Lab PEI textured plate to match the plastic z-axis mount matte finish a bit.
  • Easy removal: just press your finger a few seconds on the cap and lift it off.

A bit taller than it should be, but it fits perfectly
