LxW Basic Plus – A Feature-Packed mATX Case
This project was designed to bring powerful mATX builds into a compact, well-optimized case—without sacrificing compatibility. It supports mid-range to high-end components, including full-size ATX PSUs and a decent GPU length, while still maintaining a relatively small footprint.
Specifications & Compatibility:
🔹 Motherboard: mATX
🔹 Cooling: Up to 280mm AIO or 179mm air coolers
🔹 GPU: Up to 250mm in length
🔹 PSU: ATX (no need for expensive SFX units!)
🔹 Storage: 2x 2.5” drive bays (max 7mm thick)
🔹 Fans:
• 3x 120mm – (2 bottom, 1 rear)
• Optional 2x 140/120mm on top if no AIO is installed
🔹 Front Panel: Power & Reset buttons, 2x USB 3.x ports, 2 status LEDs
🔹 Cable Management: Built-in hooks for clean routing
Assembly Notes & Considerations:
- The main frame is designed to be as compact as possible while keeping the number of separate parts to a minimum.
- Cable management hooks on the back allow for a clean setup.
- If installing a 280mm AIO, top fans are not supported.
- GPU clearance is generous, but keep in mind airflow placement for optimal cooling.
This build was printed using Black PETG for strength and Dark Red matte PLA for accents. But as always, you can customize it to your liking! 🎨
