IMPORTANT

INTRODUCTION

Printing TPU from the AMS HT can be tricky since the rubber grommet causes the PTFE tube to sag. I designed a simple bracket mod (EDM bracket) to hold the tube in place, keeping it tangent to the spool and allowing smoother filament movement.

PRINT SETTINGS

Since PTFE tube tolerances can vary, I made the bracket in two sizes: 4.2mm and 4.3mm in diameter. Print both to find the best fit. The PTFE tube has to fit snugly but not too tight or loose.

CONCLUSION
