Toothless, a Night Fury from the animated film series How to Train Your Dragon, earned his name because Hiccup discovered his lack of teeth during their first encounter. As one of the rarest and most dangerous dragon species, he possesses extreme speed, stealth capabilities, and a plasma blast attack, emitting shockwaves akin to an ion cannon rather than fire. His appearance combines the agility of a feline with the wingspan of a bat, allowing for vertical takeoff and prolonged flight. Loyal and gentle in nature, he forms a deep bond with Hiccup, overturning the adversarial human-dragon relationship and ultimately becoming the Alpha Dragon, symbolizing wisdom and leadership
