Transformers Mirage Autobot

This Is Mirage the Autobot Solialite! . Designed style of Articulated Flexi's by HX8 (HAN).

Desiged from scratch in Tinkercad, 

similar in the way to keep up the similarity in line of the mighty

Transformers chibi's.

Mirage is pretty straight forward as far as printing goes, I did mine on both the A1, and the P1S. So I know they work.

If you are gonna purge into the model, I would recommend setting the white flushing volume pretty high, or the white turns out kind of Blue-ish.. Maybe you like that? Maybe you don't,,  

I also set the top surface to Hilbert Curve, as I personally like the finish, But again, everyone has their own idea of satisfaction.

Low infill at 10 or 11% Crosshatch, I also tried Gyroid, but it really shakes the printer around, so I prefer Crosshatch.

Plate 1. The main body is s four color show, I used Matte Bambu rolls and ElGoo ( cant use the real competitor word eh!) Matte as well. Marine Blue was nice, the rest are standard grey, black and white matte, but use what you like, maybe post your variants!? 

Set to Arachne as well, ( variable line widths works for fine details vs classic)

Plate 2. The eyes.. Here is where it starts to get a bit hairy.. LOL   Making a 6 color Autobot on a 4 color printer..

getting the eyes in is not too bad, but have something fairly rigid to push them in.. I used a sharpie with the lid on, after I had it placed int he right spot, I pressed down in the middle with the pen, and that satisfying noise is heard.. squuitch---click.

Plate 3.  The Autobot symbol..   
UGH, it is so small, and I recommend using a .2 nozzle if you have one.. I did not, it came out a bit.. well…. If you squint, it is an Autobot symbol.. ( Its still better than the one that they drew in the cartoons tho LOL)   Moving on…. It just snaps into his chest.. I recommend sliding it in from the bottom, until it is all the way up, and then pressing it straight down..  ( wait til you get to Wheeljack and Grimlock… This one is easy).. Anyway, that snapping in sound is great… DON'T PUT IT IN UPSIDE DOWN ITS HARD TO GET BACK OUT ( Ask me how I know)

Matte White and Bambu Dark Red Matte.

Plate 4.  The little race car symbol thingy…   Easy peasy.. Its angled, it sldes in nice til it clicks.. 

Marine Blue and Dark red matte as well..
