The croissant bag is one of my favorite bag styles, and this creation may be the start of my "3D Printed Bag Series".
The bag body is entirely 3D printed, and assembly requires no sewing or gluing; the pieces connect using clasps. The shoulder strap is purchased separately; the bag body has pre-drilled holes for the strap attachments.
Printing Notes:
- Recommended filament: TPU 85A-95A to ensure pieces assemble smoothly.
- Avoid using a low-temperature bed when printing TPU, as the strong adhesion may damage the bottom layer's stitching.
- When removing the finished fabric from the build plate, peel it parallel to the first layer's stitching to prevent damage.
Assembly Steps:
- Connect pieces 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7 as shown in the diagram, then attach the shoulder strap.
- Piece 5 wraps around to cover the strap and bag connection; piece 6 wraps around piece 5.
