Description
Update: The print profile was updated to be stronger and far less likely to break. It is roughly twice as strong as before.
This simple foldable chair that I designed is super strong and lightweight. It is great for camping, backpacking, or any other sort of activity. It prints easily in two plates, and around 15 hours of printing. The main seat and back print in place, and the legs can be attached by flexing the rear leg into place, and screwing the front leg on. This model is designed to fit on most printers, but if you want it to be larger or smaller, it can be scaled up or down to your desired size.
For print settings:
- No support
- 7 walls for the main seat and back
- 12 walls for the legs
- 100% solid for the front leg screws
- 7% cubic infill for the main seat and back
- 10% cubic infill for the legs
I printed this in petg HF, but Pla would likely also work, along with nearly any other material.
