Description

This is my SaddleStick Pro, a new version of my old Twist & Sit design that got pretty popular. It’s a collapsible stick that turns into a stool with a saddle seat. I made it for 3D printing, and it’s handy for stuff like camping or just standing in line for a concert , perfect lazy man seat.

How it works:

  • It starts as a 200mm-long stick, 80mm wide. Twist it to make it longer—up to 800mm—and lock it wherever you want.
  • The carrying case has a little seat folded inside. Open it up, stick it on top, and you’ve got a spot to sit.
  • When you’re done, twist it back down to 200mm. It’s not tiny, but it’s easy to carry in a bag.

I took what worked with the Twist & Sit and made this one taller and adjustable. It’s simple to print and put together. I think it’s cool for anyone who likes 3D printing an

d needs a break now and then.

That’s it—just a practical thing to print and sit on!

The saddle/case needs to be printed in 10 top and 10 Bottom layers with 5 wall loops and 60% infill, This will take the most amount of stress.
The centre clip is a good idea to print solid , I have also created two center holes in the design to add 10 mm M4 screws to reenfoce if needed if you use less then 100% infill.
The rest of the stick can be printed in 3 wall loops and 25% infill
Handel is in TPU and also on the feet.
