This stake can be used on many different types of solar lights. It is 7 inches long, much longer than the ones that come with the lights and has a tapered .07 inches base with a stop. I have printed in both PLA and PETG and either works fine. I suggest PETG for longer durability.

I needed to increase the size to fit my solar lights, but it caused the skirt to have too steep of an overhang. the spike still came out good though. but while trying to get it into the ground it partly broke due to layer adhesion. still functional, but next time I'll try a model that is designed with layers in the vertical dorection.

that’s how I would print it. if you have an ams just use PLA for the support interface, if you’re using PETG

Just tilt it 30-45 degrees in the slicer. itll be much stronger like you were saying but you can do it with this file instead.

For those who do not have PETG, I have found that using high heat engine paint often effectively seals pla prints away from the elements.
